Organised by the Embassy in London, The Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Polish Business Link, and Katowice City, the event showcased Poland's Silesian region as a prime destination for investment, emphasizing its innovation-driven ecosystem and strategic advantages.

    Karolina Izdebska,  MedTech Sector Specialist at PAIH, delivered a presentation on Poland’s role as a strategic partner for UK MedTech , highlighting collaboration opportunities within Poland’s medical technologies sector. Following that, a discussion panel focused on unlocking a healthier tomorrow through international cooperation, innovation, and shared expertise. Panelists included Ewa Truchanowicz (BIDSHAPER), David Lawson (Department of Health and Social Care), Marta Winiarska (BioInMed), and Dr. Rupa Chilvers (Welsh Government). The session explored how these collaborations can drive advancements in healthcare.

    At the Tech Forum, Poland’s City Katowice and The Silesia region was highlighted as a growing hub for investment, particularly in the tech sector. The strategic location and strong infrastructure of Silesia, along with the financial incentives provided by the Katowice Special Economic Zone (KSEZ), were discussed as key factors making the region attractive for business expansion. The region’s skilled workforce in IT and engineering further enhanced its appeal to international investors.
