New Skills Academy and Teens Unite have recently announced that a partnership is in place between the two organisations in what will prove to be a mutually beneficial relationship. Teens Unite, a charity which aims to support young people fighting cancer, and New Skills Academy, a platform for people to further themselves personally and professionally, will now work together for the greater good.

With thousands of new cancer cases diagnosed in teenagers and young adults across the United Kingdom each year, Teens Unite aim to enable these people to live their life to the max, reaching their full potential now, and in the future. Cancer has a habit of holding people back, preventing them from doing things and defining them as a person, but Teens Unite show there’s another way.

Young people with cancercan also at times feel lonely and isolated like they’re the only ones suffering, and this is another area where Teens Unite look to have a positive impact. They organise events where these young people can get together, with some fantastic activities on the agenda, and rather than it just being a meet-up for those with the big C, it’s more about life beyond the disease.

Therefore, the partnership with New Skills Academy is perfect in many ways, as the platform provides users with the opportunity to further themselves as both a person and professionally. With so many courses available to work through, which cover a whole range of topics and subjects, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The courses provided by New Skills Academy also fit with the vision of Teens Unite, providing users with a focus beyond cancer. As mentioned above, cancer is perceived as life-limiting, preventing those with the disease from going out and living, but through New Skills Academy it shows there is much more to life than the illness.

Teens Unite regularly hold workshops for their young adults to take part in, and what better than having New Skills Academy on hand to provide their exciting and engaging content and courses. New Skills Academy will be able to tailor their offerings to suit the needs of those in attendance, and learning is, of course, always more fun when taken on as a group, rather than alone.

Teens Unite do their bit when it comes to fundraising and raising awareness too, and their Annual Golf Day is always an eagerly anticipated event on the calendar. Therefore, New Skills Academy will now take on the role of Title Sponsors for the event, making it even bigger and better than before.

The partnership between Teens Unite and New Skills Academy will allow the latter to drive the former’s vision forward in a significant fashion. Which, in turn, will help to improve the lives and outlook of young people in the United Kingdom who have received cancer diagnoses. There’s a future beyond the big C, and both organisations are committed to delivering on that.
