British-Polish Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Kraków Airport and British Airways has organised a special cocktail party to announce the flights to businesses located in the south Poland.

The event took place on April 28 at the renowned Sheraton Hotel and gathered over 100 representatives from both business and public institutions. The guests entering the room had a great opportunity to experience the quality of BA service, they were offered a special BA175 drink that is served on board.

The evening was inaugurated by HMA Ambassador of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Poland, Robin Barnett. The next speeches were delivered by dr Jan Pamuła, President of the Board Kraków Airport and Petr Duchek, Commercial Manager of Eastern and Central Europe at BA. The three partners made a toast to the future of Polish-British relations and communication.

The next part of the evening revealed a history of BA over the years. The BA staff appeared on the catwalk as models! The guests had an unique chance to watch live Fashion Show of historical uniforms of BA dating back to 40`s. The show was commented by Jim Davies from BA Museum in London.

The cocktail party with a special selection of specialty, usually served at the BA business class, was followed by very dynamic networking. The BPCC is very glad that their events tend to gather more and more companies from Silesian region as it causes a lot of new business opportunities for its members. The BPCC hopes that companies from Małopolska and Silesia will extensively use the newly launched flight connection to London.

At the end, lottery founded by Kraków Airport and BA was held. Lucky winners won special VIP service at the Balice Airport and flights to London. However, no one walked away empty-handed. The given gift bags contained toy airplanes, the BA flight timetables and beverages provided by the Great Heck brewery located in the UK.
