TBA is looking to hire a Junior Insolvency Administrator (Polish Speaking) which is a trainee position, offering the opportunity of future professional study support which would suit an individual possessing a strong academic record with a desire to work in insolvency/finance. Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Supporting Insolvency Administrators and Managers in the preparation of documentation for insolvency  appointments 
  • Liaise with directors, creditors and debtors 
  • Process general insolvency case administration 
  • Draft correspondence, including reports for review by senior staff 
  • Ensure your work is compliant in accordance with regulatory requirements 
  • Maintain appropriate records of chargeable time spent on case work 

Key performance indicators: 

  • Work completed to required standards in agree timescales 
  • Documents prepare correctly and in line with standard documentation 
  • High level of support to team and colleagues 

Key skills and qualifications required: 

  • Preferred - a 2.1 degree preferably in Law, Economics, Finance or Business 
  • Foreign languages: Proficient in Polish or other languages desirable but not essential • Essential minimum of GCSE passes (A-C) in Maths and English plus at least 2 A levels, grades A – C or  equivalent qualification 
  • Confident and effective verbal and written communication skills 
  • Competence using MS Office applications 

Terms 

  • 37.5 hours per week - Office hours 8.30-5.45 Mon-Thurs, 8.30-1.00 pm Fridays  
  • Salary according to experience 
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays (25 days after 1 years’ service) 
  • 3-month probationary period 
  • Group personal pension 4% employer/employee contributions after successful completion of probationary period.

  • All offers subject to 5 years of references which are deemed satisfactory to the Practice, evidence of the right to work in the UK and a clear standard DBS check.
