The importance of Construction
According to the Supply Chain Sustainability School, building and construction work in countries that are part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) use:
- 25-40% of total energy;
- 30% of raw materials;
- 30-40% of global greenhouse gas emissions;
- 30-40% of solid waste generation.

In 2017 I set up The Polish Construction Network to help Polish construction firms to cooperate with UK businesses and to build effective networks. The group comprises everyone involved in the construction supply chain, from general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, developers, building materials manufacturers and importers to commercial & residential estate agents. To date, we have organised more than 20 construction events and we work with over 50 construction members.
I am committed to remain in the UK long term and I would like to contribute to the sustainable future of this country. Now I would like to invite all business owners (whatever your origins) in construction who share the same values to cooperate for a better future.
