Ewa Jasinska-Davidson and Bartlomiej Kowalczyk from the Polish Business Link welcomed delegates. The first speaker Hilary Centeleghe talked about support available for SMEs through the Business Growth Hub. Next we had an inspiring presentation delivered by Gary King from Tendo who revealed secrets how to get ideal clients and desired pricing for our services or products. Lastly Justyna Gutowska from Just in a Word focused on how to effectively chase your payments without losing your customer. This was followed by a case study session during which accountants: Jan Szczepanski from SFB Sanders Geeson and Marzena Stefaniszyn from Delta Accounting talked about their cooperation and how they work together to provide their clients with even better services.
Closing remarks were delivered by our host Heather Waters, Enterprise Manager, NatWest Business who summarized the key messages from the day and talked briefly about support that can be obtained from NatWest.
Then there was a chance for some speed networking during which everyone had the opportunity to introduce themselves and their business in 30 seconds.
Although the event officially closed at 19.00, we continued fruitful conversations over a glass of wine at the nearby Dockyard pub.
We would like to thank our host Heather Waters from NatWest for the hospitality and our partner Sami Swoi for supporting this event.
We have received some very good feedback from the participants. The next event in the north will take place in Leeds on 3rd November 2016. This time it will be a business social event where we will not only hear from an inspirational speaker but also learn how to shake cocktails and stir martinis. You can’t miss it!
